Russell van Den Bosch - Massage Therapist
Russell van Den Bosch has been working as a massage therapist alongside chiropractors for 7 years. His interest in holistic health evolved from a previous calling in construction. He is also completed a Certificate 4 in Personal Training, which allows him to appreciate and provide a therapeutic relief to a broad demographic of people.
Since becoming a therapist in 2009, he encountered many different modalities and sought training from various industry leaders and world educators, searching for his niche and what it was that makes massage so profound. As he delved deeper into the understanding of the human system, he realised that there was so much complexity to our state of health and even though he employs many of the Remedial techniques he has learned, he has come full circle and these days, proudly reflects the reason he took an interest in massage in the first place; to simply make people feel better. As simplistic as this sounds, the subtle and discreet physiological changes that occur within our bodies are truely incredible.
The simple goal in any treatment is to help people cope with the stressors from their environment by modulating pain in an attempt to alter patterns of behaviour. This is the reality regardless of the symptom that presents itself, and regardless of massage technique used, he has one philosophy he will always believe in:
"By nourishing our internal environment, we facilitate our body to heal and flourish".
For those still sold by clinical academic achievements, you will have confidence knowing Russell uses techniques learned from Stuart Hinds (5x Australian Olympic Soft Tissue Therapist), Neil Asher (Osteopath, NAT), Joe Muscolino (DC), Dave Sheehan (Myofascial Cupping), Justin Price (educator, Biomechanics Method), Dave Weinstock (NeuroKinetic Therapy), Michelle Vassallo (Manual Lymphatic Drainage), and he is currently studying NeuroPhysics Therapy.
